Turning your Piper off by pressing the battery on/off button or removing the USB power plug can lead to the SD card being corrupted. To avoid such problems, you need to shut down the computer from the software. Watch the video to see how to shut down your Piper properly or follow the step by step instructions below.
Step 1) Press the middle mouse button to expose the menu. If you're already in the main menu you can skip to Step 4.
Step 2) When the menu appears, click the door symbol to exit to the mission menu.
Step 3) Click the menu button to go to the main menu.
Step 4) Click the OFF button and press Shutdown.
Step 5) Wait for your screen and the Raspberry Pi green LED to go off before turning off your battery.
