If any of your sensors aren’t working, try the following troubleshooting tips:
Step 1: Check your wiring.
Make sure your wiring is correct. To wire up your sensor in StoryMode, you will need to enter Piping Mode by clicking on your crafting table towards the beginning of the level. In PiperCode, you’ll find the wiring diagram at the beginning step of each Sensor Explorer tutorial and in the Component Library. You can use the diagrams below if you’re stuck:

Temperature Sensor Wiring Diagram:
Double check how your wires are connected to the Raspberry Pi and your wire connections on the Breadboard to match the diagrams.
If this did not solve your issue, move on to Step 2.
Step 2: Check your wires and breadboard.
If Step 1 did not solve your issues, check the jumper wires and breadboard that allow you to connect the sensor to the Raspberry Pi. To make sure your Jumper Wires and Breadboard are working, try hooking them up something else, such as an LED or a button. You can test this by playing the Mars level of Piper StoryMode or the Blink project in PiperCode.
If the level or project doesn’t work, then identify which components are not working by swapping out your Jumper Wires and/or Breadboard with the extras in your kit.
